This sums up what I feel right now.

@Kermit1 😅 let’s please try to keep the multi posting to a minimum, you can edit your posts.

Ah that makes sense yes, to get the event in SwSh you’d have to close Let’s Go.

My hunts would take anywhere from a few hours to a few days.

hah! Congrats on the shiny

@Eel Don't worry I'm learning to edit more, fully understand why, things get messy looking quick (the multi-post-thing)... ya that shiny event clefairy had my name on it

@Kermit1 you can currently get a good amount of them on the switch. With Mew and Jirachi in BDSP, Keldeo in the Crown Thundra, and Manaphy, Shaymin, Darkrai and Arceus in Legends Arceus (and BDSP with the events there, but Arceus is the only one you can trigger yourself).

For Meltan and Melmetal you’ll need Pokémon Go, but they’re pretty easy to get, all things considered.

If you have a 3DS you can catch Celebi in Pokémon Crystal, and Deoxys in Pokémon ORAS. Magearna can be easily obtained in Sun/Moon/Ultra by scanning a QR code, too.

Though that does leave a few that are still event-only. Particularly Volcanio, which seems to be like, the least distributed of the bunch.

@Kermit1 Trust me, I started a Weedle chain right after this, got to 64.... and then proceeded to have the next one run away instantly. I know your pain.

For multiplayer content… I think Dynamax Adventures would be fun 🤔

It would have to be in the weekend though

How I wish I could transfer my gorgeous shiny Mewtwo from Sword to Let’s Go Eevee so that I can bask in the majesty of his Mega forms...

I’d be more tempted to shiny hunt again if HOME support was guaranteed from day one for Scarlet/Violet, but they’ll likely take 6 months again like they did with BDSP.

Porygon did nothing wrong.

Oh wow. I was playing, chaining dratinis, when suddenly a warning about the system overheating came up and the switch went to sleep.

I checked and literally it’s like 50 degrees Celsius. That’s crazy! I had never had that happen before, but to have it happen with Let’s Go, of all games, it is kinda unnerving.

(This is my OG model switch, the one I use docked)

Woo, 244 was the magic number!

Doing this hunt I learned that Dratini is not one for second chances. Basically all of them begin their “about to run away” animation (the hiss/head shake) after a single failed attempt. So even though I really wanted it on the Premier Ball, desperate times call for desperate measures.

I might continue the chain a bit further to try and get one in the premier ball.
