Topic: Personal Gaming Challenges And The Top Of Your Backlog

Most of the stuff on my backlog are RPGs, since they obviously take longer to finish. Don't care about 100%ing games at all, I just don't have the patience for it.

• FF VI, this one has been on my backlog for a long time.
• Illusion of Gaia.
• Lufia 2 (SNES)
• Secret of Evermore
• Soul Blazer
• Big Bang Mini
• River City Ransom Ex (GBA)
• Luigi's Mansion
• Chibi Robo
• Legend of The Dark Witch 2
• Miitopia, but I'm not sure about this one. Late in the game and it has become really, really repetitive for me.
• Hotline Miami. Love the soundtrack but man is this game unforgiving.
• Super Mario RPG. I'm actually pretty far on this one.
• Paper Mario 64. I actually beat TTYD before this one, but 64 seems easier.
• Kirby 64. Kirby games are generally very easy but I'm actually having trouble with the bosses in this one. The slowdown seems to get in the way of the gameplay.
• Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale. It looks really interesting, but I've played it for just a few minutes so far.
• Pikmin 2
• All of the 3 Metroid Prime games. I just suck at 3D Metroid, I guess
• Tales of Symphonia

I'm going through Skyrim for the first time and can already tell I'm going to sink several hundred hours on it so I probably won't be buying many games going forward unless must haves. Right now the only must have will be Kirby Star Allies and the inevitable Pokemon game. As far as my backlog I need to 100% Odyssey, get upgrade and collect all armors in BoTW, get all the korok seeds and complete the compendium. I need to get all carts in MK8D as well as get first in every cup of every speed. I need to shiny hunt the legendaries in Ultra Sun and do all the post-game stuff in moon.

I'm actually off work today and have spent a decent chunk of it questing in XCX. I completed Chapter 9 earlier and hope to do the obligatory Skell flight quest when I pick the game up again this evening. I decided to spend a little of this afternoon with my neglected "booklog", so to speak. It's supposed to storm tomorrow here, so most of my gaming time then will be devoted to my fully charged 3DS and, thus, Conquest.

@Tyranexx Oh geez the booklog. I've got to get back to my copy of Aristotle's collected works. I did find out the limit for Amazon's wish lists from my book list...I need help.

Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. About halfway through but haven't played in a year. Really liked a lot about it and didn't find it hard so much as every now and then finding a frustrating section and getting annoyed enough to not want to get back to it the next day. I don't ever remember previous DK games being like that but maybe just me.

Mario Odyssey. Sitting at around 400 moons. Content to just pick away at this for the next year.

Breath of the Wild. As above.

Xenoblade Chronicles. Haven't even started this yet waiting until I have time for some longer stretches so I can binge play it.

Stealth 2: A Game of Clones. Never finished this but started a new play through recently.

Startropics. Got stuck on the third boss ages ago and never went back. Would love to tick it off but I struggle with it and that's a shame as I really love the heart of the game

Bayou Billy. Downloaded on a whim. Awful at it but I have challenged myself to finish it.

@gcunit I recently finally beat the second world owl boss. Now I'm up to a windy level in the African themed world. I beat the original DKC in high school but i suck at this one.

I've completed Zelda. In 90 hours I managed to defeat Gannon but was surprised to see I'd only got 18% completion.

1. At some point get at least 25% completion on Zelda.

2. Complete the main story on Disgaea 5. I'm on chapter 11.

3. Find a way into the carnage dimension and defeat the hardest boss on above game.

4. Start Xenoblade chronicles 2 and complete it.
