Hi guys. I just want to inform you. I bought two consoles, new version of course. They have totally different screens. One is more yellow/warm, second one is pure white. My previous switch which I bought last year had exactly Same screen (white one). I found the yellow screen really bad because it’s easier to see “scan lines”. I tested today about 5 consoles in the shop. One had scanlines, second dust under screen, another dead pixels. It’s shame i think I will keep the one with white screen because there is no dead pixels and no scanlines. but I don’t know why they have that kind of bad quality control...
@Aaddixx it's weird that, I had a launch aqua blue 3ds and it was bright and immersive but the L button broke so I traded it in for a 2ds(this was before I had the idea/skills to restore stuff like this).
Then much later I bought a cosmos black 3ds so I could play some games in 3d and it had this warm yellow screen and I was totally gutted, it just wasn't as nice to look at. Also I was gutted that it was cosmos black instead of the beautiful aqua blue (I just got it at a good price)
I got luck ythen I guess. Bought new version and compared to my launch switch the screen is way brighter and the colors are more vivid. I love it!
Same here upgraded and my Switch v2 seems brighter and warmer in color and less battery drain. You can always take it back for customer unsatisfactory to exchange for another unit.
