I have been regularly checking the Nintendo UK store for a couple of months now and not once has the Nintendo switch ran out of stock. I have just received enough money to buy a switch and went on to the website to find that both Nintendo switches (grey and red/blue) are out of stock. I know this is likely because of Christmas but I was just wondering when the Nintendo switch would be back in stock. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated!
@Clanlindsay Nintendo repeatedly ran out of regular New Nintendo 3ds's -also with NES Classic & SNES Classic mini consoles. And when Switch launched, stores sold out frequently. I think that's how Nintendo plans their console production, aiming to not have surpluses. Also, running out of stock makes news, which draws attention. Which seems beneficial for Nintendo.
@ThanosReXXX EDIT: with more info now, the question I summoned you for is no longer needed. Hope you're having a good holiday, my friend.
@Woomy_NNYes thanks, many shops in the uk have stock available, but I have a 10 % off code for the official Nintendo store, so I need to get it from the official store.
@Clanlindsay Oh... yeah, 10% off is nice. I got ya
If wanted to, you could try calling UK Nintendo store customer service to ask if they know when more stock will be in, or how often new stock comes in. I pasted the store customer service contact info, and a link to their contact page.
