Topic: Nintendo Switch shuts down in dock

Anytime I set my switch into any dock with any charger it shuts down. Not sleep mode, it entirely powers off. I have tried it with two docks and two chargers. Once it shuts down I have to hold the power button for about 40 seconds for it to come back on. If anyone else has this problem please let me know because i haven't seen it anywhere else. Thanks!

Look at the charging port on the Switch? And check your power settings on the Switch itself and when you do Dock it how much charge is there left?

@SwitchForce there is always at least 50% what should i be looking for in the charging port and power settings

If you let it charge does it get to 100%?

You need to contact Nintendo customer support for this. Sounds like your unit has some kind of short in the power supply.
