I'm wondering if the mumurings of the reveal being this coming week could be true. Especially given that soon a manufacturer of accessories are planning to reveal their products for the console.
"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."
@VoidofLight I think the accessories situation is just a case of lost patience. That these accessories manufacturers expected Nintendo to reveal back in September/October and given that didn't happen, the accessories manufacturers just went and revealed their stuff anyway in December/January.
@Grumblevolcano Yeah, that's what it seems like. The issue is that one of them is threatening to fully reveal the console this coming week if Nintendo doesn't do it themselves- at least from what I've heard and seen on the matter. I feel like given how many leaks are pouring out, Nintendo is quickly losing the narrative on their own console.
@FragRed Someone typed in the code for the joycon and it worked on the Nintendo warranty page, so it's safe to assume that this is a legit leak as well.

@VoidofLight Yeah I saw that had happened, so it seems Nintendo are fully in mass production readying up for release. Also I’m not sure how much time is needed should Nintendo decide to pull a reveal earlier than planned.

@FragRed It makes me think the launch definitely is going to be earlier in the year rather than later honestly. Especially if they're gearing up for production like this.

@VoidofLight regarding the whole serial code thing, I’m sure the joy-con leak is real, but if someone were to make a fake joy-con, couldn’t they easily use an existing joy-con code? It’s definitely likely that it’s the real deal, but I’m confused with people using that as the confirmation.

@VoidofLight yeah I agree, I just thought it was weird that many people were using the serial as conclusive proof when there are so many other factors that were more convincing. The joy con thing itself is interesting, especially the whole mouse functionality

@SplatRay001 The speculation I've seen on the mouse censor makes a point that it could be for touch screen controls when the system is in docked mode. Meaning the "C button is a cast button" probably isn't going to be the case.
"It is fate. Many have tried, yet none have ever managed to escape it's flow."
@VoidofLight I think Nintendo's going to treat the leaks as if they don't exist. In the end if the Switch successor turns out to be just a more powerful Switch, any surprises comes not from the hardware but the software instead.
@Grumblevolcano The way I see it is that this console is shaping up to be more akin to the 3DS. There's certainly a gimmick here beyond power if the joycon leaks are true. That one C button mixed with the mouse functions of the joycon makes me think they're going to be attempting touch screen gaming again.

@PikminMarioKirby The fact that the date of this trailer was leaked so far in advance and we don't really have any leaked dates for the reveal makes me nervous that the reveal is no time soon.
Why is that quack Pycorokono popular again?
He/she got so dead wrong during the last year about when he/she claimed that "Switch 2" will 100% come during march-2024 or something. Yet many still believes in that individual yet today, it really baffles and scares me.
That individual always "leaks" the day before. It's just as good as guessing then. That a new trailer of XCX will arrive was just a matter of time. Those "leakers" are just like -tomorrow, if not today so tomorrow, eh.. not today but tomorrow! I promise! meh meh... tOmoRrOw then!
Rinse and repeat for every day for some years until they "gets right" and they clamors -What was it I said!!!
And everyone like -You're my god! In xxxxx we trust forever! Have my $10k as a gift for your blessings!
People are so tragically gullible in nowadays.
"Leakers" are for people today like what the priests of the churches during the middle age were for the people. To blindly believes in everything of what they spews out.
No matter of if they gets wrong for 999.999 times of 1.000.000, just having one right once is good enough for them.
@PikminMarioKirby It fits in with what happened with the XC1 remaster.
Granted, that was part of a Direct Mini rather than a standalone trailer but the general setup was that 2 months before launch there being more news including a tease for the brand new content.
