I don't even care with any upcoming Zelda games on Switch.
Whatever Nintendo brings, i want something surprising yet still cartoonish but not typical mainstream Nintendo games.
Don't care with Zelda, don't care with Smash Bros, don't care with Pikmin, don't care with Donkey Kong, don't care with F-Zero, etc.
I need more updates for ACNH.
I have some vacant spots for new update stuffs to be placed.

Ugh, I sure hope not.
We've got enough 3rd party characters in Smash and I don't care for any of them except the truly iconic ones like Sonic, Pac Man and Mega Man. But even then I'd gladly exchange them for more first party representatives.
Just like July 20th, August 28th for the next Nintendo event makes sense because there's a big gaming event on the Thursday of that week. This time it's Gamescom Opening Night Live starting at 7pm UK time on August 27th.
That said, just like the July 20th rumours only got the date right (content was completely off) I think the same will happen with August 28th. People get hyped for the potential of big Nintendo news based off rumours and then it ends up being a 10 minute partner showcase where No More Heroes announcements are the equivalent of last partner showcase's SMT announcements.
I still think we'll only get a Mario Direct this year.
But if the Prince of Persia and Tony Hawk stories are true, you'd expect them to be announced in a general direct wouldn't you?
@MarioBrickLayer Prince of Persia if true would likely be revealed in the September Ubisoft Forward and if the Tony Hawk remaster comes to Switch it would likely be announced in 2021 given Crash and Spyro came to Switch a year after the other platforms.
@MarioBrickLayer EA are the same as the others, if the game isn't already on other current gen platforms then the reveal happens outside a Direct but for ports that are already on other current gen platforms then Direct is generally the approach for the Switch version. For example if the rumoured Need For Speed Hot Pursuit happens it wouldn't be a Direct announcement as it isn't already on PS4 and XB1.
@Slowdive My comment was saying that (the March Direct Mini was the debut announcement of Burnout Paradise for Switch but came out on XB1 and PS4 in 2018). Burnout Paradise, Crash Trilogy, Spyro Trilogy, Assassin's Creed 3, Assassin's Creed Rebel Collection are a few of the many of examples of games that were already on other current gen systems but got announced for Switch in Directs. The big 3rd parties in general do that.
I wonder what Nintendo has planned for this holiday season? I know coronavirus has affected things, but are they really so quiet because of it? If they are being quiet because they are squeezing all their major games for this year into the last 3 months of the year(Mario remasters) couldn't they have spread releases out more? I know they want to release the games for Mario's 35th anniversary, but releasing all the disasters towards the end of the year doesn't seem like a normal Nintendo move. I wonder what is going on? Predictions for days of direct anyone?
People still expect them to release several Mario remasters this year? On one hand that's impossible because Nintendo doesn't do 2020, but on the other hand they're a bunch of ports, and they love them, so I don't know what to think
