I just got my Switch a week ago & I've been mostly enjoying it! I really hope it succeeds & re-earns Nintendo their nickname "The Big N" again. However, I have some complaints & dissapointments about the system so far, & most of them have already been pointed out, but the one I wanna talk about is having trouble figuring the whole thing out upon un boxing & setting it up.
The first problem comes with linking/creating your Nintendo Account with the system. It took me and my friend a whole hour of checking emails on his iPad and referring back to the Switch to finally link his Nintendo Account to the system. The way they set it up really confused us.
The other main problem regarding confusion is the Joy-Cons. It only took me a day to get used to them, but everyone else I've let play with me have been confused on aspects such as how the buttons change depending on how you hold them & even how you hold them in the first place.
I understand this is new & unique technology, but I think these bits of confusion could turn off potential customers. I think maybe a simple Nintendo Switch Introduction video that plays when you first boot up the system/start a new account would be a good idea. And a more guided account setup would definitely help. What do you guys think?

Nintendo accounts are like the personification of burocracy, they are very convoluted and user-unfriendly honestly. In my opinion Joy cons are very easy to use and to understand but it is quite hard for someone with big hands to push the release button and connect and disconnect them from the console and other devices. They should make it easier with the next version of the console

As a casual gamer and recent nintendo owner I agree with the account set up situation. After having the console for a week I still do not understand all the IDs/usernames business. I am sure I will figure it with some Google searches but it should not be that confusing. I am enjoying the console though.
