SOS our Nintendo Switch does not recognize its joyicons despite regularly connected to de console. Upon switching it on I can only see a visual message telling to attach the controllers.
Tried to reset without deleting data, however the safe mode doesn’t start…
Can anybody please assist? Thank you so much!

@Eli71 I think that can result from two things. 1) conacts getting dust/dirt on them can cause joycons to struggle to connect when attached to the switch. 2) I've heard the internal antenna's inside the joycons can get damaged from dropping them. (I think this may be more common if kids have been handling the console, since they may not be great at handling electronics.)

Otherwise, here's nintendo support's troubleshooting page for, "Joycons not recognized while attached to the console":

You might be able to test the Joy Cons themselves (separate from the Switch console) to see if they work.

If you have a cellphone or tablet with bluetooth, you might be able to connect the Joy Cons (via bluetooth) to your cellphone / tablet to make sure the Joy Cons are working, and they are able to connect via. bluetooth.

This can help to isolate the problem. Is it the Switch console, the Joy Cons and / or the connection between the Joy Cons and the Switch console.

Hmm did you try disconnecting the joycons and reconnecting them to the switch.
