Topic: Mouse+Keyboard adapter for non FPS-games?

Hey guys!

So for about 1,5 years I've been unable to play any games with a controller more than 15 minutes without my wrist hurting. I've been to physicians and it's certainly better now then a year ago, but not great. I can however use a keyboard together with my ergonomic mouse.

I've been doing some reseach on adapters for Mouse+Keyboard for Nintendo Switch, but reviewers and the companys themselves talk mainly about FPS-games. Even Alex on Nintendolife did a video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPWUdi92YUo&t=1093s&a... . It was not great to say the least, but he focused on FPS-games and tested it a bit on Smash. The sentiment seems to be that a keyboard+mouse-adapter is rubbish compared to the real "keyboard+mouse", but that's only for FPS-games.

I don't care for FPS-games on my Nintendo Switch, I want to play platformers, RPG's etc. again!

To summarize:
Do you have any recommendations on keyboard+mouse adapters that works well with non-FPS-games? Or any to stay away from? Any controller schemes that's good?

So unless those games come with keyboard/mouse combo - your left using Switch controls.

Sorry to hear about your wrist pain, but it's awesome that you found a way to still enjoy gaming with a keyboard and an ergonomic mouse. You're right, most discussions around mouse+keyboard adapters tend to focus on FPS games, but don't worry, there are options for non-FPS games too! Regarding controller schemes, it really depends on personal preference. Some gamers find success with the classic keyboard and mouse layout, while others prefer using a controller-like setup with one of infra red keyboards and a trackball, which can be quite comfortable for extended gameplay sessions.
