@Banjo- no problem!
I think it’s an easily forgettable one as it’s seen right at the beginning and then may be forgotten about by the end.
Shrines are also potentially tricky since they don’t show on the desert map either so missing a small batch in one is also a possibility. (Was the case for me)
If Prime 4 were magically available to purchase threw Steam. VR Modders would soon quickly get to work. I'd love to experience this with a Steam Frame on a beefy PC(Like the Wallet obliterating 5090. )
2160x2160 per eye while SuperSampling higher resolutions clocked at 90-120fps. This would feel like a true legit evolution after expiencing Prime 3 on Wii with those incredibly revolutionary Wii remote & Nunchuck controls back in the later 2000's.
Still great to see that Prime 4 Supports 120fps(thankfully at 1080p, and not 900p) on NS2, the graphics look superb, you've got HDR, HD Rumble 2 and 9-Axis Gyro support. I'll pick this up digitally whenever i finally get around to getting NS2, but i can't imagine even the 9-Axis gyro aiming with detached Hyperion 3's working nearly as well as the Wii remote + Sensor Bar. Guess I'll just wait and see for myself.

I'll just fall back to the Pro 2 controller using fine tuned 9-Axis gyro if the detached Hyperion3s fail to replicate the feel, accuracry and reliability of Prime 3's Wii remote & nunchuck controls.
And it's too bad about the barren dessert hub, having to mindlessly colllect those purple crystals(And don't get me going on having to buy an overly expensive amiibo in order to unlock hub music, which we've heard numerous times before.) and the uneccessary fetch quest towards the end of the game which i hear has too much back tracking even by Prime standards. But whatever, I'll go in with more of an open mind. A lot of people say Prime 3 is so much weaker than the original, yet for me Prime 1 back on Cube was a 6/10. Hated the stick-controls, excess scanning and desolated murkey depressing atmosphere. I wasn't vibing with it at all. Prime 3? 10/10. It was like a religious experience, but if it had stick-aiming I would of absolutely dropped out. So, I'd rather just ignore most reviewers and judge for myself because I'm not always one to usually think alike anyways.
@ROMhaiku
I thought they were purple. either way. lol Doesn't Samus get an upgrade were you can at least double the cycle speed to blaze through the dessert hub to get to your next destination? I swear, the dessert hub as mediocre as it sounds, would actually be enjoyable if it was presented in 3rd person VR. With a life sized Samus on her Cycle just feet away from you, being IN that world and using your head as the camera. Sign me up!
For me, the most important thing is that this game is 60fps on both consoles. The desert is worse than the pointless "open world" of Gears 5 and the combat on the bike is annoying, but overall I enjoyed the game, especially Ice Belt, an excellent area with interesting level design and horror. I think that the first Prime is the best of all, but 4 is not bad either.
I want to mention that Myles didn't annoy me at all. None of the characters are memorable, but there's nothing wrong with them. What I want to say very clear is how stupid is that Samus doesn't speak in this game. It always left me shocked during the frequent dialogues and feels off. It's like she's mute or rude.
I'm doing the final boss now and the biggest problem I have is the controls, that are terrible compared to Wii's and even Gamecube. I tweaked them after the first hours of my playthrough, but in the final battle you realise how bad they still are. I'm going to try again now.
@yokokazuo Your post is very helpful. I had not found anything like it elsewhere. Every post says to look in the desert and shrines. Yes, the whole crystals were right there, in Jungle Path, Fury Green. I took a screenshot before collecting them, because I could not believe it after 3 extra hours of combing an empty desert with no crystals. I surely went through there in the beginning before the player needs to collect crystals. I just didn't remember those. I returned to all the areas for finding all the collectibles, but never went through there again. In regard to the shrines, I think I found all the crystals because I checked them many times, but some are well hidden, like what you mentioned and the crystals hiding behind thick cobwebs in Ladder of Thought.
So I beat the final boss. The first part is unfair, especially the electricity dragon heads. What I'd recommend here is to watch the floor and be ready to heal anyone, because in one of my attempts three of them needed help at the same time and it was impossible to heal them all and that meant game over. There is something I realised, if you don't have enough time, don't heal them completely and move on. The ice dragon heads can also be very annoying if they manage to freeze you, suck you in and hurt your colleagues at the same time. Best thing is prioritise avoiding the icy attacks so you can still move around. The second part of the battle is great for recovering some health, so charge your regular beam shot when you see the orbs. For the third part, definitely, charge your Thunder Shot while moving away from him. The third part is not easy, but it's not unfair.
