I am hoping to. I haven’t played any of the series but I am a sucker for strategy rpg and sprites like that. Old school feel. Big releases this fall, lots of good stuff which is good.

Once I pick it up, I will let you guys know.

Not if it's only a eShop item. They need a physical release to get me to buy it.

Bought it. Not sure when I will be able to play it. Hopefully soon.

So far I am enjoying it. Made it to the part where your path divides.

Finished the first path and working on the second. This should hold me over until triangle strategy comes out.

I like Tactical RPGs, but I’ve never heard of this series before and am having a hard time finding a list of the titles in the series. Is this a sequel, or can it be played standalone? Are there earlier titles you recommend first, even if it isn’t a sequel?

Haven't played this 1 yet but I'm sure you can play it on it's own, @Pizzamorg .... It reviewed better than Mercenaries Wings I do intend to get around to & otherwise it's the Mercenaries Saga Chronicles collection of the 1st 3 games for Switch

@Pizzamorg there are 6 games I believe. The last two are my favorites. You can pick up any of them without having to play the previous ones.

Out of the two of you, is there any one specifically you recommend starting with?

@Pizzamorg I enjoyed blaze and rebirth the most. Each has 2 paths with a new game plus which is nice. Fairly linear so you can pick up and play whenever without having to remember much. You dont need to grind with these games on easy or normal. Maybe a little bit of grinding with hard.

Well, I finished all three pathways. I enjoyed it and will defintively purchase the next in the series. Each one gets a little better.
