So I have an online account. I have friends on. When I enter into mariokart online, have our characters ready and click OK to start the game I can’t hit OK to actually initiate the game where it states “100cc...items frantic...no teams...” etc. I get stuck in the setting up part.
My daughter can do it on her switch, my friends can on there’s and I can join them. Just not on my switch and it’s annoying.
Any advise would be appreciated, I’d like to be able to create an online game
@Kallina Sounds like you're creating a Tournament. I can't recreate your issue. The OK button is always available when I'm creating a tournament.
Since I can't recreate your issue, make sure your Mario Kart 8 version up to date. That could block you from racing friends. When game versions don't match, consoles & games can't link-up to play together.
On home screen, press (+) on the Mario Kart 8 tile, select Software Update, then Via the Internet.
