Miis are boring now anyways, unless Tomadachi Life 2 happens, which it won't....because Nintendo is weird like that.
EDIT: Oh cool, another posting glitch, and the site actually prevented the double posting this time. lol
@Meowpheel Yeah, it also makes me think about Amiibo Festival. Possibly Amiibo Festival was originally going to be a mainline Animal Crossing but got changed to an amiibo board game when Nintendo changed focus from Wii U to NX in early 2015.
It's so nice to see Nintendo going back to roots in Zelda, 3D Mario and now Mario Tennis. It's clear the developers are now putting all their hearts into these games and I'm really interested in Aces. Bought Tennis Open but had some problems that seem to be solved here (like a proper story mode with boss battles yay!).

@Dev There's already a forest court with taller than normal grass and pipes along the net which may or may not contain hazards. Speaking of Power Tennis, something akin to Power Shots seems to be returning.

Man, I haven't been excited for a Mario Tennis title since... GameCube? Even that was disappointing a little with it not having an RPG story mode. Of course, this won't have the rpg elements either most likely, but if the story mode is done right that's fine, Golf Story satisfied me pretty well on the RPG aspect of sports titles for now. Regardless, this looks like it's a port of Ultra Smash with another year and a halfs worth of contents right? Tbh, that's probably the best case scenario for getting an amazing Mario Tennis anyways.
Also, I've been looking at the Mario Tennis Aces boxart more closely. Look at Mario's right hand, it's wrong. Think about it, it's not physically possible. Even his right arm looks wonky.
Edit: I'm struggling with this image, maybe there isn't a mistake.
It just looks really weird and didn't think it was physically possible.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE physically possible, but I can’t imagine competently hitting the ball like that: running back and hitting backhand so you arm raises all the way up. Granted I haven’t played tennis in a long time, just seems like a good way to hurt yourself.
Currently procrastinating on: implementing virtual memory and synchronization.
Currently distracted with: Mario Tennis Aces
