@Inertiacreep I have heard you could spend well over a hundred hours in it. Don‘t know if this was said officially on the Treehouse or from unofficial sources but if you‘re aiming for completion, my gut tells me this time ain‘t too far from the truth.

@Inertiacreep Most people say the story takes about 10-15 hours for the bare minimum amount of moons. And apparently 100%ing everything is ridiculously long
wow, is it really that much level in the levels? over 100 hours? i mean i heard theres hundreds of moons but thats pretty crazy if it does that long to 100%
Only listened to the gamexplain review, but he compared looking for all the moons to Korok seed hunting in that there's soooooo many, it can become frustrating after a while.
We'll see. I haven't seen a moon yet that is a slightly larger scale version of the same exact objective your did to get the last one. That repetitiveness was what made Korok seeds so un-fun.
@Haru17 I completely agree. It wasn‘t the large amount of them but rather the five or so tasks they repeated again and again and again.
I wouldn‘t worry that much about collecting them moons becoming stale too quickly. Collecting them is the main objective of the game so more time and ideas can be invested into them, whereas Korok Seeds were but a side mission, a little thing to do while wandering the lands. They clearly weren‘t intended to be collected all in a row.

Yeah basically that. Korok seeds were sort of thrown about with very few being memorable and necessary.
I'm not watching Gamexplain's review though, or any review really. They spoiled parts of BotW in their video footage last time and I generally prefer making my own opinion originally, without having it influenced too much.
Do you guys think they'll be a lot of people malignantly rating the game 0 on Metacritic to cause its user score to go down?
@Tsurii Yeah, you can turn them off, I've seen it, but it doesn't do anything
You can still use the gyro for stuff even if it's turned off, so I have no idea what it is for...
Also guys, don't crucify me, but 20 minutes in and I got stuck on a rock lol... T-Rex controls aren't as polished as the rest of the game, animation looks a bit off too...
@Tsurii Yeah, that's the one I was talking about. I wish there was a button to use that move, but there isn't. Even if you turn the motion controls off, you still need to waggle your controller to control Cappy. It's weird...
@Tsurii No idea. I think it doesn't do anything at all? Camera controls are right stick only, and the only motion controls I've encountered so far are the hat controls. Maybe there are some BOTW-like gyro puzzles in the game? I hope not, but you never know...
This game looks really great and I was planning to buy until I learned you will need to use motion controls to be able to do certain moves and more importantly, to reach certain moons when jumping. I will hold off to buy and see if they will change this in the future. I only play in handheld mode (lying in bed) so I never take the joycons off.
