Final Fantasy X/X-2, 2 remasters for $60. Final Fantasy XII, 1 remaster for $60, Okami HD, 1 remaster for $40, PS2 games for $20, PSP games for $20, all of them at least as, if not more expensive with little to no extra effort beyond a resolution bump.
That’s several excuses right there. If the argument is, “Game X did this so they don’t have an excuse”, then you have to objectively look at “but Game Y did this so they have plenty excuse”. Cherry picking does no one any service.
Instead of trying to share subjective viewpoints as objective declarations of truth, it would be better to simply say “in my opinion” it should have done this or that, which everyone would respect as the opinion of one more dude on the internet throwing their hat in the ring, instead of a self-proclaimed arbiter of fairness deciding what’s right for everyone.
Not that I’d be against seeing Galaxy included. But it’s a great collection as is, even if it’s unfortunate we may never see Galaxy 2 on Switch. Perhaps it’ll be sold as DLC for $20. I’d be down for that.

@Apportal The logo of this collection is huge and the German rating logo is almost as big. In Germany, on the small Switch cartridges you only see the USK logo so you might confuse them with 3DS cartridges.
Here's what I think of the three games:
Super Mario 64- most revolutionary
Super Mario Sunshine- most interesting
Super Mario Galaxy- most emotional
Super Mario Galaxy 2- ???

The truth is that it has nothing to do with effort, but what they can get away with. One thing I've noticed is that older rpg games are generally much more expensive than action games, since they are longer, and people are willing to pay more for a longer game.

Hm... I’m not sure that many people care about things like price or game length. I think most normies just care about whether it’s something that interests them.

$20 a pop isn't that bad honestly, especially for three game of the year or even game of the generation(in some folks eyes) games. Value is certainly subjective; I can't fathom how people can spend $60 on FIFA and/or Madden every year, but yeah.

Mario 64 - Most nonlinear
Sunshine- Most mechanically advanced
Galaxy - Most cinematic
Galaxy 2- Most varied
@NoLife The game will continue to be available until March of 2021 so pre-ordering is not necessary! With that being said, you may run the risk of dealing with scalpers if you want to get a physical copy since it's almost certain that this game will sell like hotcakes. That won't be an issue if you choose to get a digital copy!
UPDATE: Bowser just ate some cake and it was yummy

I owned a PS3, and the PS1 classic games that were rpgs often costed way more. I don't know if it's true across the board though.
