Topic: Left Joycon Connectivity Problems

For some reason the left joycon that came with my Switch isn't responding with my console, even when connected to the console and undocked. It won't connect to the Switch at all and when I turn the switch off it still continues to stay on for some reason? I'm honestly completely stumped and I have no clue what to do about this. it's been going on for a couple days now.

@sadleafhours If nintendo's joy-con troubleshooting page doesn't get you going, it may mean hardware failure. Disregard, if you've checked this already.

If needed, Nintendo of America support has a good phone line, and a chat messenger. I've used them both, and it's pretty easy to get a person on the line.

@sadleafhours I think your suppose to give the joycon's a rub of a cleaner every so often.

@WoomyNNYes i looked at the article you sent and pressed the little reset button on the inside of the joycon where it connects to the switch and now it's working lol. I feel like an idiot for not trying that before posting.

@sadleafhours Ah, don't sweat it!<33 Before I joined here, I didn't know that nintendo's support site was as good & thorough as it is. I'm glad you're up and running again, because hardware failure sucks.😉
