For some odd reason, my left Joy-Con slides right off when there's pressure applied to it. I've dropped my Switch a few times before and I hope that isn't what's causing it. Does anyone know how to fix this? Do I need to buy a new pair of Joy-Cons? Is there something wrong with the console?

In all honesty it looks like you really forced it off. But with the info that you dropped it a few times, I'm thinking the little lock that's present on the left joy con that usually stops it from sliding right off is damaged in some capacity. I'd contact Nintendo, they may be able to fix it for you, maybe even for free. My suggestion is don't keep testing it, because by forcing it off like that, you may be damaging it more, making it potentially even more loose,

And if worst comes to worst you only need to buy one new joy con rather than a whole pair

I did force it off, but I don't think it's supposed to do that. I might contact Nintendo about this later on, thanks for the info!
