Not too bad to start and I'm still trying to add a pro controller to this list!

Not spending a lot compared to some of you. Only 320 for the console, 75 for the pro controller, and 51 for Breath of the Wild. So around $450 total.

Add in Horizon: Zero Dawn Tuesday and the UFC fights in 4k on Saturday and it'll be a slightly expensive week overall.

Just ordered the pro controller on amazon uk after a lot of time deliberating whether to get it or not. Its in stock on Amazon uk and delivering for launch. Not sure if it was out of stock previously...

I should've grabbed some late last year when they had the deal. I didn't because I was worried they wouldn't carry the balance over to the Switch. No idea when they're going to have a discount again so I guess I'll just have to get some credit at the full price.

@Grandpa_Pixel Holy... (insert curse word here) that's probably the most I've seen anyone spend on a console launch since the PlayStation 3!

This reminds me of an image I once say showing how much consoles cost on release, adjusted for today's inflation. I think the Philips CD-i was supposed to be over $1,000.

I haven't spent THAT much, having preordered the switch and BotW for £327.99, but I need to get another controller at the very least and probably a bunch of other stuff. Good thing I have plenty of stuff to trade in...

That's launch day. I get paid on the 7th so that will be when I pick up a Pro Controller, Zelda Wii U and maybe FAST.

Honestly much cheaper than my last three launches. So I'm pretty happy. Plus I get paid 3 times this month so it is pretty much free since I usually toss the extra check to savings or an extra expense.

I got the Switch and Z:BOTW for £310. I had some Tesco Clubcard vouchers going spare to reduce the impact a bit.

I just purchased mine from Amazon Prime Now. I'm receiving it in the morning. It was only $340 because I didn't purchase any accessories at all. And I didn't get any games for the moment because Amazon Prime Now for some reason doesn't have any games just the console. I went to Amazon's normal site to try to purchase Zelda to get it shipped to my house. Because the way I I'm receiving the console now is from a local Warehouse from Amazon directly that during normal business hours gets to me within a 2 hour time frame window. But when I went to Amazon's normal site Zelda was sold out. So I'm probably going to go to GameStop Best Buy after the console comes to just get a game or 2. For $60 each

I still need to buy a battery pack and a memory card for mine and the former won't likely be until I see reviews of what works best for the Switch. But so far I spent:
