A while back my dog chewed the cover off of my thumbstick so now it's just plastic and uncomfortable to use does nintendo offer any replacements?

You want to know if Nintendo will replace your dog? I don't think they do that, and any dog can chew the occasional possession, so maybe jus' try making up with the last one (if you've still got them).

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

@gcunit I checked the support page but it doesn't say if they offer replacement parts or not and the other covers ive seen on Amazon have awful reviews so I'm not sure what to do I'm in need of a replacement because I'm wanted to change the shells of an old pair of joycons and I want to fix this while I'm at it

I've got some cheapy pokeball thumbstick caps and they are fine.

As they are usually very cheap, it's worth taking a gamble

@RomanTheStreets I think Nintendo will only service your joycon if you send it in. I could be wrong. Although, I think? some third party verdors (possibly amazon, ebay) may sell replacement analog sticks that are the same brand as the ones sourced for joycons - if you can find a analog stick repair page or video that shows what that brand is. I think I've seen the brand name, but I'm not certain. I think it's a three letter word (one syllable), or an acronym. Also, I don't know if the rubber thumbstick cover can be swapped over, or if you'll have to replace the stick. If you have to replace the stick, there are kits that come with the needed tools. I know ifixit (which has a youtube channel) has a joycon replacment stick kit with tools. I dont know much about it, otherwise. I don't know if it's good or bad, or the oem brand part.

(I don't know if it's worth it to look for a local console repair business for parts. Estarland dot com in DC area seems to only offer service for replacing Switch Lite analog sticks. Not sure why I don't see joycon related stuff. Could be I didn't use the right search words for their site.)
