Topic: Japanese Account help please

I wonder if anyone can help me please?
I am having problems setting up a Japanese account from the UK.
I go to the Nintendo site, create a new account using Japan as residence.
Nintendo then fires away a 4 digit pin, which I send back.
All OK?
Going to the switch I go, system, user, add new user, icon and nickname.
Then it asks sign in or create account. Either option it asks for a 4 digit pin code?
What is the code?
I use the verify code Nintendo sent, it tells me it is incorrect. If I come out of that, iget an option to Link account, pin number again..

Where am I going wrong please?

I made one in the US and I can't really remember the steps.

Are you able to use the e-mail attached to your Japanese account?

I made A JP account from Canada without any issues or strange questions it was the same process as making my Canadian account, I cant remember all the questions it asks but I do remember there was nothing different about the process for either
