Topic: How big is your Micro SD Card? Also a funky idea...

So it's probably been 2 or 3 years since I remember posting anything in this forum... So hello again.

I have a 400 GB Micro SD Card in my Switch since my 128 GB was beyond full. I have about 62 games/software on my Switch with 4 of my games not requiring any patch data or extra data to be saved other than save data. I got the Micro SD on Black Friday this year for roughly 85 USD, which I got on Sunday the 25th without paying for shipping or Prime. Now that I have 222 GB free to do what I please, I feel like I'll be able to go maybe another year without worrying to upgrade or to go to using my 128 GB as a backup storage device.

So what size do you have?

Also I think it would be funky if someone were to make an SD card adapter to micro SD card adapter that sort of was like a weird kickstand hybrid thing. I know the kickstand isn't wide enough for an SD card to fit in there flush, but the system could fit in the dock if it was in a bubble on the back of the system.

Hey! I'm currently rocking a 128GB card. I didn't think I would ever fill it up but I was wrong. I finally embraced digital downloads for most of my games. The convenience and knowing that the devs and publishers are getting my money instead of some brick and mortar store changed my mind.

Nice. I'm a fan of second hand brick and mortar stores. I'm a collector after all and I love my physical games wherever possible.

I got 128GB micro SD card myself, and trying to just get physical whenever I can. Although some games I picked digital only because that's how it was gifted to me (or it's far cheaper to get digital in my area for that game).

Pretty much my digital stuff is: Let's Go Eevee, Starlink Digital Deluxe Edition, Dead Cells, Wizard of Legend, Hollow Knight.

Hopefully I'll have enough data until Switch's gen is finished :V

I have a 128 GB SD card. That 400 GB sale was ridiculous tho, in a good way. I wish I would have pulled the trigger on it, but since I buy almost everything physical I haven't filled up my 128 and I decided to buy a couple of games on sale instead.

So I kind of envy your 400 GB card. That's awesome! I'm jelly.

I buy pretty much everything physical if possible. I actually hate having to download anything. But then again I have Revelations collection which if you wanna play RE:R2 it's a 23 GB download only on the Switch. Also having LA: Noire has 13 GB even if you have the game card, and DOOM has 8 GB extra. Also Bayonetta is a 8.5 GB download if you wanna play it on Switch since it isn't physical by any means.

Mine is 128 GB SanDisk Micro SD Card.

I own 128GB card too. Shiuld be enough for a long time since i am almost 100% physical. I got only 2 digital games, Bayonetta and Celeste so the rest of the space is for updates, dlcs, patches and stuff like that. Also none of my games has an extra download like mentioned LA noire and RE so i still have more than 100GB left.

Also have a 128gb card. Haven't filled it and tend to delete games I'm finished with to preserve some space. Think I have around 40gb remaining at the moment, when the price of the 256gb comes down to a decent price I'll probably go for one of those and that will get me through a long while then.

I've got a 32Gb. I tend to archive anything I haven't played in a month, and other than Starlink my larger games are physical. In the spring I might get a 128, but my method works right now. (I only ever used 3/4 of my 1Tb X1, too)

I have a 400gb which upgraded from 200gb to store more games. But until they come up with a 1tb ot 2tb microsd card mine is holding out at roughly 180gb free now. The problem lies in if you get Digital eShop games your storage will run out fairly quickly when you go that route.

i have a 128gb card atm, but most of my games a physical. Wonderboy, Gunvolt, warframe, fm touch 2018, fortnite, metal slug, bayonetta 1 and brawlhalla are my only digital games i have on there. got 88 gig left with 25.1gig system mem.

So far its going well, but I def want to get a 400gb card in future.

Only got a 2GB in mine and still have room, but only have 5 digital games (Forma.8, Oceanhorn, Golf Story, Hollow Knight and Fe) all the rest are physical so not really a problem for me

Edit: Also have Bayonetta 1 (so 6 games)

400gb for me. got about 206GB left...lol. I've been increasing my digital purchases this gen as going all physical with the 3ds was very tedious and since I don't keep my switch games on a shelf it is somewhat annoying on the dock. Honestly if I didn't have GCU this would have been the system to get me to go digital only.

I'm rocking a 64GB card which is about half full! I actually do buy some digital games, but all of my bigger games are physical.

Hey it's not a matter of how big it is, what's important is how good it saves data...

I have a 200GB card with about 22GB free. I almost only buy physical games (I refuse to buy digital games that are over 2GB due to the portable nature of the Switch; and I absolutely refuse to keep multiple microSD cards), and most of my microSD space has been consumed by demos (I obsessively download every demo regardless of my interest in the software ), as well as Resident Evil Revelations 2 (damn you, Capcom), and a few other lofty "patches", including DOOM, Atelier Lydie and Suelle, and The Fractured But Whole. I will probably curb my habit of downloading demos and just stick to keeping the ones that are worth having.

I'll buy a 400GB card when I'm out of space (and by then it should be a good deal cheaper).

@KromCompany : Bayonetta 1 was available on cartridge in Japan exclusively via the extremely limited Non-Stop Climax Edition box set. Both cartridges are identical to the international release, so they contain English support.

I just bought a 200GB card that will hopefully last me a while (I buy physical games whenever I can), and if I run out of space I can use my old 32GB card for the demos before I need a new one.

Then you missed the Amazon sale of 400gb for only 79USD now is 99USD. I bought mine ahead of time when the sale was CyberMonday and glad I did. Now I wait for 1tb MicroSD won't get a 512gb unless it is near 80USD sale.
