Okay, so back around October, I went to play Animal Crossing with one of my friends. I got a "Error Code: 2618-0521 One or more consoles are not responding. Please try again later." I thought the issue would fix itself - but it hasn't. I contacted Nintendo Support, several times, they told me they're unable to do anything about it. I checked their website to see what I can do: I followed the instructions several times over. Nothing happened. So, I visited the T-Mobile Store just a few days ago. Because Nintendo said "Whoever gave you your router needs to fix the problem." I was hopeful! They updated our router, so we had to Factory Reset it. I did that - and after everything I did? I'm still getting the same message. I feel like there's something I'm missing? It'd be nice to have a video / detailed directions. Because I'm completely stumped on what to do now. I can't play Animal Crossing, I can't play Splatoon, I can't play anything that requires connecting with other players. I do have Nintendo Online! So that's not an issue. I'm considering factory resetting my Switch because I lost all cables that came with my Switch last year while moving. Which means I can't transfer anything to my second Switch. Unless there's a method that doesn't involve any cords at all?

@lieutenanthawkeye The level of help here won't match the help you can get talking to someone at Nintendo support US. If you think you got a weak rep, you could try calling back to talk to someone else.

Every once in a long while I've seen someone here have a compatibility issue with an internet service. Usually it's solved by troubleshooting like you see on this support page for your error code.

Generally speaking, if nintendo support troubleshooting can't solve something, it usually means there's a hardware failure somewhere. I'm not sure that's your issue, but it makes me wonder if your switch could connect to internet at somoene else's place, or possibly via another internet service provider - as a way to confirm that your console is ok, and can connect to internet. If you've done that already, disregard. I'm not sure what else to recommend.

I'm not sure doing a factor reset will help. I say that because, I've never seen anyone in the forum solve something with a factory reset.

Transfering to another Switch is through wifi connections only cable is both be connected to power for the transfer to happen. Not sure what console your talking about but Switch uses wifi to transfer the data only-there is no Cable Transfer used or made for it.

To the person who added "Animal Crossing" onto this, it's not just that. I can't play Splatoon or Pokémon Sword and Shield online with other people either. :/

Can your system even see or detect your wifi internet? This info is missing.
