Topic: Help - need recommendation for elementary ESports club

I am starting an ESports club for children aged 8-10. I want to offer games that are E for Everyone, allow local (not online) multiplayer play (4), and don't have violence. I am going to have two video games happening in the club simultaneously.
So far, I considering Mario Kart and Super Mario U Deluxe. I am considering others, like Rocket League, Animal Crossing (but am unsure if 4 players at a time would be cumbersome), and Super Smash Bros (for those 10 and older)
I am posting here to see if anyone could reply with some other options that might work that I might not be aware of. Thanks in advance!

@MrOAGR Here's two games I'd recommend which are great for team building and competitive play:
1. Mario Strikers. This one has up to 8 players locally and can be played via single joycon. It's a lot of fun and allows each player to customise their character to suit the team they're playing for.
2. Hidden in Plain Sight. Great party game that's very easy to play.

@Magician "competitive," yes, but for some this may be their first multiplayer experience - so lightly competitive, if that makes sense. Thanks for your recommendations!
