Ever since I first got my Nintendo Switch, the right Joy-Con has ALWAYS had connectivity issues. I sent it in for repair a few times, not only to get the drift fixed, but also to correct the connection issues, and it was never improved. This would vary from a dropped button press, to the rumble feedback being unbalanced, to it getting completely disconnected, usually pausing whatever game I was playing. But ever since the Firmware update 13.0.0 and the controller update that came with it, I have had absolutely no connection issues with my right Joy-Con. I played multiple games on my Switch (docked) for about 3 or 4 hours. Not even a single button drop.
I dunno if this is just some weird coincidence, or possibly Nintendo actually fixed the connection issues with the Joy-Cons. How has your guys' experience been since update 13.0.0?

Currently playing:
Persona 3 Reload (PC)
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy (PC)
Ironically, it's been the opposite for me. Since the update my right joy-con randomly disconnects from the console sometimes.
Your first anything is important; a memory you don't want to forget. That's what makes nostalgia such a fascinating concept. That's why many people enjoy games that have aged well.
I have had an issue recently when playing Spelunky handheld that if I press the home screen and then go back to the game - it thinks the right joycon is linked via bluetooth rather than as a connected joycon. Very odd and always fiddly to resolve.
@SwitchForce Oh, I noticed that too, but I just assumed it was because the right Zelda Joy-Con was the first one I updated. Did you do that one first too?
@WackyMatty That was the third in-line with my Joy-Con doing the update. I was getting concerned when it did that and was like can't touch it until it's done and it worked just fine. Mine went from left to right on all Joy-Cons when I update not sure if this is something NIN and how they update.
