@JayJ I've been wondering the same .There is still no footage of the Switch version available anywhere that could find . I'm still waiting on NL reviewing MXGP3. As it turned out it wasn't anything worth bothering about anyway as it was a shoddy port. I had hope that this one would be better since the devs have had more time with the Switch and with it being announced and released together with the other consoles.. The PS4 version is supposed to be quite good so the Switch version should be too, unless it happens to be another shoddy port., With how low key its release on Switch has been though I'm starting to think that's exactly what it is.
@OorWullie Yeah that is exactly how I feel. I want to get this game because I love racing games and this is the type of the game the Switch could really use right now, but considering how bad of a job they did with the Switch version of MXGP3 I am really weary of this one. I am hoping they did a good job and that it looks okay, I am not expecting to be as good looking as the other versions but I don't want it to be the bad PS2 style graphics we had for MXGP3.
I have also been looking for any Switch footage for a long time now, and everything I could find on Youtube has been PC/PS4/Xbox footage that they slapped Switch on the title with just so it was included. So far I haven't seen anything from the Switch version besides some crappy screen shots we got on the eshop. It is a bit worrying for a game that is coming from a developer who made a bad Switch port.
It has also been reported that the track editor from other versions of the game will be absent on Switch, which suggests yet again that it is a shoddy port.
@sillygostly Yeah I made a topic about this on another forum. Someone told me how it has a lot of the same issues as MXGP3. No online multiplayer (or maybe no multiplayer at all?), no track editor, no dirt physics or particle effects of any kind. At least that is what I was told.
But then again someone who got the game told me how it looks better than MXGP3, it apparently takes a lot longer to load but it isn't as blurry is what they said. Kind of hard to tell what it's like but it definitely doesn't seem to be comparable to the other versions of the game.
