Topic: Has anyone played the Kingdom Hearts ports? Is it really garbage?

I had high hopes since the tease but it looks like no one is having fun.

Its a cloud game. So if you even want it to run remotely well, you have gotta have some good internet going on.

Plus it kinda defeats the whole purpose of the switch as a on the go console.

They have a demo, try it out, see if it runs well. If you have a ps4 or 3 around, just buy it on there.

Just buy them elsewhere...or wait and hope Square-Enix has some common sense.

Get the PS2 / PS3 / PS4 version of Kingdom Hearts games and it will save your day.
Don't even give them any penny from BS Cloud products.

I don't know for certain, since I haven't played it, but I've seen videos mocking the cloud version, and I keep hearing that connection issues are the main issue. Not to mention, with cloud versions, you don't own the game at all, despite paying full price for it. You also don't even really get to use the main function with the switch, since we haven't gotten to the point where internet can be reached absolutely everywhere.

Cloud is basically a joke. Got bad internet forget even Clouding let alone steam. Cloud is a money make for Lazy Developers whom don't put the effort to make a worth while game. Why else does one think Cloud for Switch had hits the dumps so far and sales figure show it's not what people want.

I believe cloud games defeat the purpose of the Switch. I can see it maybe if it's something so technically demanding that there's no alternative, but this game is not that. At the very least, this could have been download-only.

Absolutely. I don't know where Square Enix get off on charging such a ridiculous amount for freaking cloud versions of catalogue titles.

It's not even available in Australia, either because they know damn well that our internet isn't good for it and/or that most will scoff at the price (approximately AU$150 for the three games!). At that price, it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect all three games on a 64GB cart.

I don't get why Kingdom Hearts 1.5 & 2.5 are Cloud Games. These are remastered PS2/ PSP/ NDS Games with a download size of 45GB (PS4). So, if we compromise it for the Switch it may fit on a cartridge, but the Switch can handle these games easily in my eyes. I'm not a fan of Cloud Versions anyways.

I love how op is asking for people’s experience with the game and every comment says nothing about the game and how cloud gaming is trash.( not saying cloud gaming is good, I just find it funny)

lol yea - I checked this thread a couple days ago hoping to get actual information from people who bought the games and played them on the cloud.

I can clearly see how people feel about cloud gaming, but I want to know how these games perform because I am considering giving them a shot at some point. If it's clear Square isn't gonna do a physical release, I'd still like to play through them. They don't really strike me as the kinds of games I'd want to play over and over - once and done will probably be fine for me, so I don't mind if they're "gone" into the ether once I finish.

These cloud games should be an NSO expansion pack thing or something. Paying for something that you can't own completely is stupid.
