Cars 3 has been on sale every single day for about 6 years now for about 80-90 % off. It’s usually 7 dollars CA, a handful of dollars American I assume. 4 bucks?
final fantasy 8 has an extremely regular pattern of sale for a couple weeks then no sale for a few weeks and repeat. Honestly a ton of the Square Enix games do. I always wondered if Nintendo has a rule where you can't be on sale for more than a particular percentage of the time.
On my wishlist, there are some titles I consistently see on sale for the same price cuts. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is frequently 75% off (£34.99 -> £8.74). Neon Abyss is often 70% off (£14.99 -> £4.79). The Longing is often 25% off (£13.49 -> £10.11).
The site is a good way to browse for sales, there's some good stuff that sometimes gets pretty heavy price cuts.

Cars 3 is an interesting example; I glanced at it when it wasn't on sale. According to deku it is constantly going back and forth between sale amd non sale. eShop sales seem to have a maximum amount of time, so there may be some short cool-down in-between. No clue if it depends on country.
@Ironcore It is actually out since April 2021, but I am continually working on new features and additions 🙂 I do the iOS version (https://apps.apple.com/app/switchbuddy/id1563251210) and my friend makes the Android one - but this one doesn't yet have the price checking.
In addition to what "MarioBrickLayer" said, if you are willing to sign-up, DekuDeals is really helpful in keeping a clear overview of the games you are interested in. I think they send you an email everytime a game (or more games if they went on sale at the same time) on your wishlist go(es) on sale (both digitally and physically) and a weekly email with all the games that went on sale in the eshop that week.
Gaming since the early nin(e)ties and probably will until death does me apart :) .
Looking forward till the day we can game with all of our senses.
