I have been wanting to play these for so long! I grew up playing them so this means a lot!

I never played them myself. They look pretty cool though. Looking forward to them.

Someone who's familiar, can you sell me on this franchise?

I love strategy games, but some more than others. Diehard Fire Emblem fan, Triangle Strategy fan, Mario + Rabbids fan, currently playing Diofield Chronicles... at the same time, I never liked Project X Zone, Digimon Survive, and games like Disgaea and X-COM, while good, just never hooked me like the aforementioned. Stuff like Super Robot Wars... meh.

What kind of strategy game is this? Good story? Or more about mech customization? How fun is the gameplay? What makes this series so beloved, basically...
