Hello! Yesterday I've noticed one thing, that I think never happened before. After launching BotW, the fan started to go louder and louder, until reaching one point in which it was really annoying. It wasn't SUPER loud (I think I would't be able to hear it on crowdy train or something like that), but still concerning. After about 30s. it started to slow down at the same rate as it was speeding up. After that I kept playing for about 30 minutes and Switch was quiet for all this time and I didn't notice anything out of place (it didn't get warm, for example).
When I put my console in sleep mode and turned it back on after few seconds, fan stayed quiet the whole time, but when I turned Zelda on today morning (after about 6 hours from last time I used it) this "problem" occurred again, in exact same way.
I said I haven't notice it before, but I may be as well stupid on this (although unlikely). I'm yet to test it better, with other games and other features/settings. But has anyone noticed that? Is it just some fan cleaning mechanism, that I shouldn't worry about?
I get that too. It's still pretty quiet IMO and doesn't last long, only a minute or so, then I never hear from it again until I next boot the game. If I resume from sleep mode it doesn't happen. So yeah, it probably is a maintenance type operation, and certainly doesn't strike me as anything to be concerned about.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Ye, the fan itself isn't concerning, I was just worried, as this haven't happened before (I've got my console on launch day, although I didn't use it THAT much yet), and my colleagues don't have this problem yet. Thanks for your reply.
