Definitely excited for this. Whether they announce some promising new games or ports of quality indie titles, I'll be happy. Nintendo's relations with indies has been better than ever, so we could be getting quite the number of game announcements here. Devolver Digital usually publishes some well received indie titles...I don't know if they are technically considered indie, but I'd love for Telltale to announce The Walking Dead seasons.
@ilikeike Switch isn't Slig's system of choice. He made up his mind to hate the Switch before it even launched, and he's never done anything but put it down in every single thread and article since March 3, 2017. They could make an announcement that the next installments of Assassin's Creed, Monster Hunter, God of War, Civilization, Hearts of Iron AND Zelda are all going to be free Switch exclusives in a month, along with a free firmware update that boosts the Switch's power and lets it put out 4K graphics at 120 FPS, and it comes with a free T-shirt - Sligeach would be here complaining that T-shirts suck.
The ignore button is a beautiful thing.

@JasmineDragon Oh I am well aware of Sliggy's bias, and I'm fine with him having his own opinion. I don't want to attack him simply for having an opinion I disagree with, since he often has valuable and unique insights. It's just when he holds onto his blatantly wrong ideas in the face of facts that I have to interject--ports are not evil, Indies are third parties, etc.
Mario Galaxy is ten years old, and now I feel old.
From this I expect more on Shovel Knight: King of Cards (release date for game and amiibo) and also more on the new meat boy Super Meat Boy Forever, considering both are coming out this year and have been touched on in other Nindie presentations
@Snaplocket I'm not expecting anymore Smash news until E3, the March Direct reveal felt like just a way to shut up the "Where's Smash?" people similar to the how the Pokemon Switch and Prime 4 reveals at E3 2017 were to shut up the "Why is [insert franchise] coming to 3DS this year instead of Switch?" people.
1. HUNTDOWN - we need a release date, this game looks amazing!
2. INSIDE - another amazing game already announced without a release date
3. SHAKEDOWN HAWAII - release date please!
4. LIMBO - from the same developer as Inside, would be great to see this announced
5. DON'T STARVE - just ordered a physical copy of Flame in the flood, I'd love to try this one
6. CUPHEAD - as Krull said
7. FIREWATCH - I'd love to see this on the switch
8. Some new exclusives
@Snaplocket Nintendo probably wants to keep people guessing about the game until e3, where they'll blow everyone away when all the features of the new game are announced.

I'm hoping to see Broforce and Hotline Miami 2 announced and seeing as they're both published by Devolver Digital I'd say there is a good chance of both happening. Whatever we get from them I just hope Genital Jousting isn't one of them.
@HappyAxiom Well Nintendo has been trying to attract a more "mature" audience with games like Gal Gun and Senran Kagura, so Genital Jousting isn't entirely out of the question😉
