I'm in the US (in the event this is regional), and I tried to open the eShop on my Switch, and it said it's undergoing emergency maintenance. Anyone else seeing this? It appears it's been going on for a few hours.
@ballistic90 I see it in the US, too. Did your prompt actually say "emergency"?". The error prompt I got said:
"The server is currently undergoing maintenence.
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please try again later."

Maybe something good is coming. Like a dark mode for eshop!!<3333 (wishful thinking). I'm tired of being blinded by eshop's white backgroud if I open eshop at night on a TV. Although, I seem to be the only one that complains about this.
@WoomyNNYes I checked it out on the Nintendo.com website to try and buy a game and it gave an error and a link to their server status page. That status page indicated an Emergency maintenance.
@ballistic90 Oh, you're right. When I opened the details, the switch error code points to a Nintendo status page, and that page says "emergency maintanence"
@WoomyNNYes I mean, of course it does. That's why you can buy games on the Nintendo website from your phone or other device and it starts downloading on your Switch automatically.
I noticed the Nintendo status page posted the emergency maintanence status at 2:40am PT, 5:40am ET. So, it's been down for 4 hours - I did the math for anyone outside the norther american region<3 https://www.nintendo.com/consumer/network/en_na/network_statu...
@Clyde_Radcliffe Fair point. I've never seen Nintendo of America roll out anything after midnight, or before 9am PT when Nintendo of America(Seattle) work day starts.
