I'm all about it. Easily the second best bit of news behind the SMT V confirmed release date. I just hope all four games are bundled together for a physical release. One of the best vn / adventure series is coming to Switch. Rejoice.

Probably the series that I've been most tempted to play elsewhere but I've patiently waited for Switch ports so it's nice that my patience has paid off. Between this and The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, it's gonna be a great second half of the year.

@Ralizah Mmm, it gives me hope that more folk than just the Danganronpa fandom are giving the "Ace Attorney, but with murder" series a try.

But yeah, I'm hopeful about this expanding the fanbase. Can't believe they didn't include Ultra Despair Girls, though. Especially since part of Danganronpa S' new content is interactions with original characters from that game.

It’s safe to say this year is absolutely amazing for mystery/horror visual novel fans (aka me). We’re getting Great Ace Attorney, Doki Doki, the Danganronpa series. And who knows what else could be coming this year, who knows the zero escape games could come to switch!
I feel like the collector's edition isn't quite worth it for what you get. At least in CAD, it's $75 for the standard edition and $125 for the collector's, but I don't feel like the extra goodies are worth $50 in this case.
That being said, I'm probably still going to keep the CE pre-order just because I love the series so much.
Much like the Prisoner Edition for Dead Cells, I imagine the high asking price is for the tin collectors box, rather a cheap cardboard box most publishers opt to use with their collector editions.

@Cynas For me I'll be importing as Switch VNs are never released in Australia and my options are the standard edition for $72.99 or the collectors edition for $149.99. More than double the price with nothing of much value included so that's a big no thank you from me. Standard edition will do just fine.
