This is a Thread for The Game called Cult of the Lamb, Made by Massive Monster and Revolver Digital.

I for one Can't wait for this game, The cute art style and characters mixed with its really dark setting, And of course, Big enter ETG Vibes.

So I made a thread to talk about it, I'm for one getting it day one.

Looks like a mature version of Kitaria Fables, with more of a Cat Quest art style.

I'm all about it.

Although I'll be holding out for the inevitable physical release from Special Reserve.

Thinking about picking up this game this weekend but not sure which console I want it on. How does it run on Switch??

...I was thinking of bumping this just to ask about patch news for the Switch. I heard that it has tons of bugs and even crashes. I normally don't care for many rogue games but this one looks like it mixes things up quite a bit.

I need help with a question I have about the temple.

So I keep seeing online that when they do a sermon, the temple is full, but when I do my sermon I only get 6 followers. I have more than 6 followers so am I missing something, is there a way to get everyone to attend a sermon? (I play on switch if that makes a difference)

@Joeynator3000 Hmmm if that's the case I probably will get this on the Xbox then.

@Tasuki I think all console versions has issues, not just Switch. So, uh, yeah. lol

This is a hard question to answer. I know some people have reported it is really buggy/has crashes, in some 15 or so hours of play I haven't experienced that, but maybe I just jinxed the universe.

That said, I have experienced all the other issues. And depending on how sensitive you are to framedrops, chugging and input delay, I think some of the technical issues here will spoil your experience.

I was going to order the physical version, bit i've held off for a little bit, it's been announced that all patches and the upcoming DLC will be on the cart? but I want a better idea of how bad it is and what they are doing about it...

I'll wait til it becomes physical to pickup....

Hmmm, I think I might check this out on PC after watching one of the youtubers I watch play it. 😉

...Anyone get this game? I've been running into some issues here and there, but nothing too serious. It soft-locked on me once towards the beginning and that was about it. One decoration is bugged, basically a blank slot. Aside from that and the framerate/performance stuff, everything else seems fine, I'm liking it.

@Joeynator3000 I've had to put it down and am waiting for a patch. The framerate drops and soft-locks are annoying but fixable with an application restart, but the real killer for me is the quest bug: If you have >6 followers you can't always choose the right victim for a ceremony. Marriage, sacrifice etc only lets you choose from the six followers who come to the temple. That's got to be fixed before I pick it up again.

@Pizzamorg I have been playing it since the weekend. I have read about the technical issues, but besides the ocasional frame rate drops and the thing with the Followers on the Temple, I haven't got serious issues.

I have read that ALL versions have some problems, and I originally planned it to buy it on Xbox. But I like this type of games on the go, so that's settled it!

Yeah, only big issues I ran into was a cutscenes at the beginning of the game with Leshy, it basically soft-locked. The other being last night where it randomly crashed for the first time for me, think it was while I was in a dungeon thing and I died.

Other than that it has been mostly visual and framerate bugs here and there, with a few bugs that prevented me from doing stuff. But going to the main menu and reloading my save fixed that.
