I’ve tried upgrading my membership from a family one that’s just online to one that includes the extension pack and it won’t let me buy it or anything else, keeps saying I have an error with my credit card. PayPal doesn’t seem to work either

@Camren727 I'm not clear why UK residents seem to have problems with cards & digital purchases, but there has been a trend for the past 1-2 years, and I've never seen a cohesive answer explaining it or a solution. I don't know if it's brexit related, or just new financial security protocols, or both. Paypal was one possible workaround, but I see you tried that and it didn't work. If you just want the purchase, you have options, but they aren't really solutions for your card error.

You can buy eshop voucher cards (via websites that sell games, or amazon, or physical stores) for 10, 20, 50 pounds, and use the redeem code for the purchase. There may even be Switch Online version of those cards... possibly for the NSO Expansion.

You can make eshop purchases via nintendo's website. Although, again, for some reason I've seen people occasionally having problems with that in the UK.

I dont know if Nintendo support UK's phone line is still available. I believe it shut down during the pandemic, but I don't know what it's current status is.

Card error is usually from your card services. You need to call them to find out what is going on. Otherwise you need to email contact Nintendo UK ID that the case and tell them the error.

I have problems on 2 accounts where starting from last Sunday (I guess) I can’t buy anything on eshop, neither with credit card nor with PayPal. Tested with 4 different card and 2 different PayPal, so I definitely exclude bank problems…
