Hey @Cia.
If you can set up your phone as a WiFi hotspot, the Switch should be able to use that.
I've not tried it with mine, but I see no reason for it not to be the case

@Cia Yeah, it works. I've played splatoon turf war online using my phone's wifi hotspot when vacation internet was too unreliable.

Yeah it should work fine and I've done it plenty of times.

Sometimes you can have an issue with certain devices not connecting to a hotspot that might warrant you calling your phone provider to activate Hotspotting on their end. This is pretty rare these days though but I just thought to say it just in case as it was an issue I came across working in mobile tech support

Yes you can you have to create if Smart Phone a hotspot connection and the Switch will log into that but make sure it has a password protection for the hotspot. Once you do that you can use your phone internet connection with the Switch to connect Wi-Fi but remember it will drain your Smartphone battery running the hotspot. The best is have you Phone connect to free Wi-Fi and turn it's hotspot on and the Switch can connect to the phone internet through the Wi-Fi.

But you can search online and it will also give you more info.
