I want to know if I can have a good decent browser, use wifi from my home or any hotspot in the tower? I also wanted to know if I can have netflix, itune, watch movies, listen to mp3 and use skype on nintendo switch? If I could do all of this...I will get a nintendo switch instead of a tablet.
Not at all. As of right now the Switch doesn't have so much as a web browser. There might be apps released in the future but at the moment all it does is play games.
No, the switch is not a good replacement for a real tablet. It is designed to play games and playing games is quite literally the only thing it can do. At least at this point in time.
I don't think you can actually get iTunes on any tablet other than an iPad, too.
@gcunit Ha! You must be right. The clue was in the username.
I have an iPad and a Switch, and use both for games. If I could only pick one, though, Nintendo wins out. I have a phone that can do all the rest (Netflix, browsing, etc), but nothing else with note-perfect physical controls, local multiplayer and exceptional software of the likes of Zelda, Shovel Knight and MK8D.
@gcunit wow talk about rude. How do you know he's not just some person who doesn't know much about Nintendo and is asking a genuine question? Just because he likes Xbox doesn't mean he can't be interested in a Switch. Not everyone bows down to one company and only one company you know. Not everyone is a good little capitalist monkey. Why they let people like you become mods is beyond me.
To OP; no unfortunately not, Switch doesn't have many of the basic features found in a conventional tablet (which is a shame because Switch IS a tablet), if I did I would probably sell my Samsung tablet and buy a Switch but I can't do that as I need basic functions like a browser and a word processor for work. It's a shame!

use wifi from my home or any hotspot in the tower?
Yes, you can connect to WiFi with the Switch including hotspots and tethering
I also wanted to know if I can watch movies
As of now it doesn't have a Netflix app and you can't copy movies over to it. Though with the success that it has had I think that Netflix is going to come sooner rather than later. Of all the things you want that it doesn't have yet I think this is the most likely.
listen to music
No it doesn't have the ability to playback music either locally or via a streaming service. Though I think the usefulness of it would be questionable even if it did support it. I'd rather listen to music on my phone personally and I can't see any advantage to having it on the Switch.

Thank you! I truly don't know anything about switch and I am not trolling and I don't like xbox, I used to own xbox 360 and that is where my nickname came in..but sold it. I have PS 4 and PS vita only at home as console and used xboxOwn as a nickname that I am used too and well feel comfortable as nickname. Too lazy and have no interest in remembering other nicknames...mostly lazy to change it. Thank you all for answering the question, I will buy switch for games and use my PS vita for mp3 player and itune.

Exactly. I was asking this question because I was hoping it have those basic conventional tablet features this way I would not buy table and just use switch. It would be my ultimate goal and was about to sell my PS vita too. But when I realized this cannot be done, I will keep my PS vita instead and get switch for games only.
