Hey guys, im from México, i want to buy a Nintendo Switch, but here the price its almost at double as it should be.
I have a chance next month to buy a Switch in Japan because of a friend that its making the trip. It is the best opportunity i may have to save money on the purchase (console only). And i am considering it because of the knowledge of the multiple languages in the operating system and the absent region lock.

so, is there any info i do not know that may cause trouble trying to use it at it´s fullest at my homeland?
should i go for it or better try to get it in US?

The system is totally region free. You set the language when it boots up. The only thing is you will be forfeiting customer service on the unit if it breaks however. Nintendo has always been pretty strict about wanting customers to send in systems from their region to their region's customer service. Unless you are willing to do a mail forwarding service in Japan... I will say if I would pick a system to do that with it would be a Nintendo system. They make tanks out of their hardware. Every Nintendo system I've ever owned still works and is original hardware (except my N64...mom spilled soda on it and it still took two years to die).
