Sorry for not being active much recently, but I’m very much alive!
Nintendo's first party games have the magical blend of being easy enough for younger gamers to pick up and enjoy fully while also including mechanics to test the skills of more serious gamers. Mario odyssey is a great example - its easy to complete the game but requires a lot of dexterity to collect all of the moons and 100%.
If you are looking for games to challenge yourself then Cuphead, Darksouls and Hollow Knight all spring to mind.
I'll throw Fire Emblem Three Houses on maddening difficulty into the ring for anyone who wants a challenge.
I don't know--my first playthrough was a little tough, but I'm on my second playthrough now and being able to fully understand how the game works from the beginning makes it a LOT easier. Fortunately, that doesn't make it any less fun. If anything, the more I play it the more fun it becomes.
@LinkxPeach Games aren't made to be quick to finish nor so easy it's not worth playing. Alot depends on the type of gamer and how they play their games can be easy to hard. So alot depends on the gamer themselves how experienced they are at various games to complete or continue playing games.
