Some impressive scores from you guys... Struggling tonight and the fact that I've recently quit smoking is making the game even more stressful!😂

Downloaded and watched the replay of the guy at the top with 34 mill earlier, it's a work of art😍

We have a new leader on the Ikaruga leaderboard. I look forward to seeing how the scores change over the next few days.

Gosh it's so hard watching you guys playing and enjoying this gem, I still haven't got my Switch back from repair... Seriously doubt I'll be able to join the contest, let's hope it arrives before the end of the week at least

We could extend this challenge by an extra week ,if that's fine with everyone else? It's such a special game but it takes time to master,it deserves a good run. I'd love to see how much the scores increase over the next week and a bit and it'll hopefully give @RetroGamerAndrew and @GrailUK a chance of taking part.

lol I'm awful at Ikaruga. I need to watch more Youtube videos of experts to get tips! Some of these scores are impressive.

@OorWullie I'm cool with an extension so everyone has a chance to play and also I'm still learning the game so therefore I am still pretty bad at it. I bet there are a few players here who haven't played Ikaruga in years and it's probably starting to come back to them now so I expect their scores to go way up too.

I'm holding strong on my no-buying stint, so shall try to remain steadfast during the IKARUGA extension 😉

@OorWullie Sorry to ask again, let me know if you'd rather I do it, could we have another PIINBALL FX3 challenge to run alongside this IKARUGA extension. I'm starting to get into PINBALL FX3 and would like to keep the momentum with these community challenges.

Ikaruga is bloody outstanding!

Just hit 1.7 million. With a Chapter 1 score of 1.45 million. I came away disappointed too as it could have been a lot higher.

@wasilewski I'd recommend downloading and watching the replays of the top players on our own leaderboard. Helped me a lot. Watching the top players on the overall leaderboard will just have you shaking your head in disbelief.

@mauhlin12 You'll get a run where it all starts to click and then your scores will start rising by a lot.I can't get enough of the game just now. Everytime I put it on now I'm beating my previous high score and coming away feeling like I could have done a lot better.

Just had a quick go on the new table without knowing what I was doing once again, and I think I'll leave it at this until someone beats the score, to keep it interesting for everyone.

@meppi64 Cool, where was you on SON OF ZEUS? Expected you to weigh in and smash my fluked score. I play all these Pinball games without having the faintest clue what to do. For example, in this Adventure Land table what on earth are you meant to be doing when the screen angle suddenly jerks to the side? Something to do with the bloke with rotating arms? The screen angle then lurches back to normal and I'm none the wiser?

@Lroy I somehow thought that I still had time to join in on that one for some reason.
Weeks just seem to blend together for me after being home for so long. Half of the time I don't even know what day it is. lol
All I know is that E3 starts this weekend.
Starting to feel a bit better over the past couple of days, although today is again a bit worse. Really hoping I can get out of this rut as I'm really tired of feeling terrible.
As with everything in Zen tables, it seems really messy and not obvious whatsoever.
Looks like you need to hit the target underneath the guy with the arms so that the ball then can be shot into one of his hands with a flipper. When there's a ball in each of his hands you get a multi ball.
At least that's how I think that works since it happened that way for me.

That's also why I'm looking forward to having some Pinball Arcade tournaments as those tables are a lot more focused on skill play and not just random shots that give you a bazillion points for no reason.
Still devastated that a ton of the best tables ever made will not be coming to the Switch.

You don't happen to play on Steam as well, do you?
Because I got a code for Bloodstained Curse of the Moon, since my backers codes for the XBox One and Switch versions aren't done yet and my Vita code doesn't work yet since I'm in Belgium and it's not released on the Belgium Playstation store for whatever stupid reason. :-/
I don't play on PC, so I don't want to enter the code into my steam account, knowing I won't play it anyway.

@meppi64 I have a Steam Account with many unplayed games on. I got rid of my Desktop PC awhile back due to space (kids) and fact I simply don't/can't sit at a computer desk for long periods of time due to back injury/operation I had a few years ago.

I can game on my Laptop but never really do. So thank you for the offer but I suspect your code would be of better use given to some one else here.

@Lroy Same here. Got a laptop but can't be bothered to play on it.
And the few games that tempt me (pretty much all classic shoot em ups) are Windows only and I'm on a Mac, so I just never bother with it.

If anyone wants it, let me know. Cause I can't just post the code out in the open as some random lurker would probably run off with it.

@OorWullie Hey man, sorry, seems I gave some false information yesterday. I was sure I watched a replay of someone smashing the second boss while the 'weak point' text was still visible, but I just tried it and...wasted all the energy I'd kept for him, then died. So, yeah, seems like I got confused. Hope it didn't affect you.

And nice job to whoever's top of the leaderboard now! Good to have a score to chase that looks achievable. I think no matter what I do, 5 million would be my absolute limit so seeing something I may have a chance at hitting is some good motivation to keep trying to improve.

Im starting to go to sleep at night counting black and white ships in threes 😳 Only other game that did something like this to me is Lumines, god help me when that comes out! Been really fun playing with you guys, watching your replays is fascinating, especially when I see someone go for the exact opposite route or attack the same cluster the other way around. @riccyjay your chapter 2 playthrough is damn good, watching your approach to the middle of that level has helped a lot.

@OorWullie im kinda tempted to venture further out into the retro games available, I just got Strikers 1945 II and have been eying up either Dragon Blaze or Zero Gunner... which would you say is better for highscore chasing? Any ACA shmups worth getting, they look kinda slow and clunky compared to psikyo games...
