So I managed to snag a preorder from Walmart when they first went live. I have been patiently waiting for it’s release and the day came and went without any notification from Walmart. My order still says it’s being processed and will be delivered on oct 19th. Is this a common thing with preorder?
@Aurumonado Everywhere I look, its sold out already. Saw an article that listed stores that sold out by friday afternoon/evening. I checked websites of best buy, target, gamestop, estarland, walmart, amazon.
I reached out to them and it just sounds like it’s out of stock at the moment but I will definitely getting my item. Of course they couldn’t confirm if it would be here on the 19th…
@Nintendaholic I bet your unit is stuck in the pandemic shipping bottlenecks, sitting on a container ship, waiting for a train or truck to unload it. While that may stink, it sounds like you still bought reserved a unit. I don't know how much delay the bottlenecks can add to your wait. That's my guess.
They majorly screwed up their OLED preorders. Mines now says its been shipped with a tracking number BUT doesn't come until the 21st??? And requires a signature now...🤦♂️
They probably just printed a label to keep people from complaining...we'll see but I'm never pre-ordering anything from Walmart again
I’m the same boat as you. I preordered day 1, although not with the initial batch but later in the day when it opened back up. Arrival date said 10/11, never came. Now it says 10/18… another Monday… which I didn’t trust at all, but if you use the FedEx app you can see packages coming to your address. It says there that I should be getting it by EOD tomorrow. Cool! I’ve been waiting for it’s arrival to play Dread.
