I'm certain the question has perhaps already been inquired but I can't seem to find it.
Anyone have any information on future special edition consoles on their way? Nintendo is infamous for them. I'm just a retro game collector/restorer. I'm currently holding off on purchasing the ones available currently though I severly want a Switch Console Why?
A the two regular market ones have little to no rising value and B.... I was ill-informed of the Smash Bros edition and paying over 500 is nah-nah
Preferably I'm waiting for a pokemon or Zelda edition. Figured both are likely in the near future if anyone can imagine any future game release dates that may come along with bundles that'd be... great or any other information regarding future special editions.
I already know there will be some Be their first consoles not to do it since the 80's. lol
@Gingerbomb You already missed out on the Let’s Go special edition and I doubt they will be making a BOTW one this late. No new limited edition console variants have been announced at this time.

I have heard news though I'm not sure how legit of an upgraded version of the Switch being released sometime this year...... I'm guessing either mid year or end year.
Any upcoming popular titles set to release something amaze-balls in June/July or October/November?
I'd go ape for a DK switch or a Sonic Switch. I'd die for a SEGA fan shout-out to its fans they bought out. lol
@Gingerbomb The Switch Pro/Mini thing is just a rumor, there has not even been a hint from Nintendo that it will be coming out soon. And again, they create limited edition consoles near or at launch of a huge new game. We won’t be getting a DK console unless Returns 3 comes out, same with Sonic, it would have to be a huge port or exclusive Sonic game to have a Switch made for it.
I could see a Pokémon Gen 8, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Yoshi, or Fire Emblem Switch as a possibility.

I'd be surprised if Fire Emblem: Three Houses didn't get a special edition Switch bundle. There were several FE 3DS bundles, unless my memory is completely off today.

There are three special edition consoles at this point in time...
The Let's Go bundles (which include an exclusive dock, console with Pikachu and Eevee silhouettes on the back, yellow and brown Joy-Con with beige (?) and brown straps.
Smash (includes exclusive themed Joy-Con and dock)
Diablo 3 (includes exclusive dock and console with Diablo pattern on the back)
I have only included bundles that contain exclusive materials that are unavailable separately.
@JasmineDragon : Well, not hardware bundles per se, but Fates, Echoes, and Warriors had special edition bundles. There was a blue 3DS XL to coincide with Awakening and a black and white New 3DS XL to coincide with Fates (neither of which included their respective games).

@Magician : Ah, yes. I completely forgot about that. It has an exclusive dock, and to my surprise, a custom design on the back of the Switch console itself as well.
