Topic: Animal Crossing: New Horizons

@Heavyarms55 I'm feeling the same way, honestly. I love the game for sure, but I keep finding myself doing the same things over and over. Not to mention I haven't got any new DIYs from balloons and villagers (while I was playing, anyway). I've been taking a break from the game for a few days as a result. I could have my house elevated to a higher level, I guess. But yes - I REALLY want more events, preferably sooner than later. We do know that the Mario items will be coming on March at least, so that's something we can look forward to.

By the way, happy (belated) birthday! Hope you had a good one. My birthday's also on January. lol

@MarioLover92 Yeah. Over the last few weeks I've already changed a bunch of things. And at some point I'll do my post Christmas season clean up. But that's about it. Right now, I hop on, cut down and replant a money tree, find my money rock, say high to my villagers, check the able sisters, and check for Redd or Gulliver. I adore this game. I've put several hundred hours into this game. So one could argue I've gotten my money's worth. But... I still want more. I really hope there is more content coming. And I would absolutely pay for a big meaty DLC if they went that direction.

So after playing almost every day for a year I STILL haven't found cherries.... so if anyone is willing to let me visit them and get a few cherries I'd be very grateful! Driving me mad! Happy to trade for something if needed but I guess everyone has everything they need by now lol.

@Johnny44 You can chat by pressing the R button. A keyboard will show up and you can type your chat messages from there while you're playing with other people. If you have the NSO app, you can chat from there too, which is much easier. Hope this helped

Watzup who want to play the game with me

I've gone one whole day without Animal Crossing now. I had played every single day since launch, but recently, it's become too much like a chore. More recently, I've passed on hitting each rock and gathering every fruit when they ripen, but along with Fire Emblem Heroes on mobile, I've lost too much time to something that hasn't really been paying off.
I've been collecting the odd DIY recipe, but now, I am able to take a break, and, honestly, it feels good. The next time I start it up, it'll be for someone's birthday - I can't remember whose, but it's not until March, so there's no panic.

I never did finish my island - I rose to 4-star ranking, but I wasn't able to replicate the plaza in my original island to my satisfaction, and there are far too many trees for my liking, but what Isabelle wants, Isabelle gets.

My dream address is still set to its state before the total renovation, so if anyone's interested in seeing what it looks like now, I'll have to update it first, but for those that are, I can share the original address so you can compare it to what it looks like now. Just say the word, and I'll hop on (break my hiatus) and update the dream address.

I still play every day, because I kind of do the bare minimum unless I feel like putting time into something else. Every day I find the visitor, see what all 3 stores have in stock, go to a mystery island (until I get all the Dodo rewards), build a snowman (until I have all the furniture pieces), and give a fossil to Puck (the only neighbor for whom I don't have his photo yet). Then at night I search for Celeste unless she's already been here that week. That's usually all I do every day, so I never burn myself out on it. I've never spent like 5 (or 10) straight hours on it like so many people have, so it's never really gotten to be old or a chore. I still enjoy it in little bites.
