Did a short research about the amiibo cards. There is a very common glitch problem, it seems. But yours seems to be different. Julian comes to island? Or is there a message about him being busy because he’s already moving?

@Cosmofantasmo He shows up at the campsite when using the amiibo card, and everything goes as normal. On the 3rd day, after doing the last diy, he says he will talk to Resident Services then when he comes back, instead of prompting to pick a villager to replace, he just says he wants to move, but seems there are no open plots avaliable. And thats it! Tried retalking to him over and over, and kept saying the same thing. Tried a few more days of making him diy and still said the same thing about no open plots! Seriously have never had that happen before so Im stumped!

@MarioLover92 I am gonna hop on...have about 20 minutes before I will need to hop back off. Have family visiting in a bit so have some things to do beforehand.

Okay, found a solution online! Very interested if that’s the problem. Could it be that your friend hasn’t build ten villager slots? If that’s the case she has to go to Tom Nook asap.😉

Well then, I guess she has updated to the current version of the game!? Has she EVER got a villager from another players island to move to hers? Is anything else different with the houses of her villagers e.g. is she able to enter all of them?

No problem, I got interested myself because this seems to be a general problem. Researched some more in the last hours. It looks like the main issue is when you go to the island of another player and there is a villager in boxes and you ask them to come to your island. Especially when this villager is forced out by the other player with the help of an amiibo. At this point there can happen several forms of corruption which ends with the house plot where the villager moves to on your island being corrupted. There a several indicators for this like a house you can not enter or a wrong outside of the house that doesn’t match with the villager who should live there. These are the first things she has to find out.

@Cosmofantasmo I read about that issue. This is a bit different bc she isnt taking anyone from me...just using my amiibo card to get Julian. So I don't see why it isn't working for her. Next time her and I get together, I'm going to have her try a different card and see if it does the same thing.

It has nothing to do with your card. The problem is one of the house slots on her island and the task is to identify this slot. The question is if she has EVER, even when it was a month or two ago, asked a villager in boxes on the island of another player to move to her island?

@Cosmofantasmo Ahhhh I see! I figured with updates that wouldn't make a difference being that long back, but I will definitely ask her that specifically! I know she time travels alot too so not sure if that also has anything to do with it.

Who knows. It sounds like a very complicated topic. Nintendo definitely patched something but it seems to trigger follow-up bugs. Time travelling has to do with this but as I understand it could be part of the solution so it’s good when she is ready to do it 😉

I made some changes to my island - I added the crescent moon, star clock, and my pro design of Rosalina's dress to the northwest part. The cosmo garden is currently a work in progress, I did have to move Bubbles' house further back so I can have more room for it tomorrow. But I did make a pro design of Princess Daisy's dress, which I'm displaying now. I'll definitely get to the Yoshi egg next - I'd like to make pro designs of Toad and Toadette too.

Guys, i have locked the date of Celeste appearance (6 July 2020 on my place) so i could farming her DIY recipes everytime i did time travel. Also, it has shooting stars here (Not Meteor Showers). 😀

And if you need Celeste DIY recipes, please let me know if you want to visit my island and i will prepare the date and time on 6 July 2020 around 8 pm and open the gate for everyone.

So far as i have found her, she oftenly wandering around my museum area (Top Right, 3rd floor) or near Fish Market area (Bottom Right) or Wolfgang / Rooney's house (Middle Right, near of Boxing Arena).
Bring your weapon or net as i got stung by Scorpion twice yesterday during 8 pm. 😫

Gullivarrr also founded on the beach by date 6 July 2020 on my island. 😀
