on the basis Nintendo has closed it's repair shop, temporarily. Does anyone know of an alternate repair service. I have a bricked/frozen Switch and have not been able to restart the machine. Or if anyone has suggestions on how to fix it that would be helpful too. Thanks

@the_cat eStarland is in the DC burbs. You could try them. I keep meaning to take my gamecube to them when I visit my brother in Virginia. But covid happened.

Do you use a third party dock for your Switch? Or any idea what caused your switch to brick?

@the_cat Just becareful repairing your Switch on your own or getting someone else then other Nintendo to repair it could void any warrenties.

@WoomyNNYes - super helpful, i'll give them a call, we were using a third party power source yes, and i've read that that can cause the issue - we don't have a Nintendo dock

Thanks @tasuki - the machine is out of warranty, so that's no longer a concern, but understood, thanks for the tip
