It's no surprise now to hear about all the rumors and the speculations about the different Switch revisions due to the huge success of the Nintendo hit-console and generally Nintendo's history with revisions especially with their handhelds (DS > DS Lite > DSi > DSi XL > 3DS > 3DS XL > 2DS > New 3DS > New 3DS XL > New 2DS XL..) (GB > GBC > GBA > GBA SP > ...) ... I'm sure a lot of you have some sort of idea of how you want your new Switch to be like.. So..
Imagine this: A new Switch hardware that will not replace the current one but just to give more options for different type of players out there, a dedicated dockless handheld Switch, built-in controllers with bluetooth support for the JoyCon or the ProCon, a new 3DS-like clamshell design with the screen on top and the controller on the bottom (Some people -including me- don't find the current design the most comfortable, especially with the screen and the controls being parallel, hurts my neck and my arms). I find this design so much more comfortable and more portable.
I'm sure that a revision like this will appeal to a lot of people especially with those familiar with the 3DS. But I'm not saying it has to be exactly like the N3DS, maybe it could have a better C-Stick and better face buttons and larger buttons in general... Besides, this would be a lot more affordable with the exclusion of the detachable JoyCon and the Dock and other complications, I can see a $200 Switch on the horizon with this. But I understand it would not for everybody...
Let me know what you think guys, and if you have any other golden ideas then let us discuss em!
