So, I’ve passed my switch oled to my kids.

I thought I could wirelessly play at least Mario Kart 8 deluxe between the two switches.

But no.

Apparently I need two copies of the game.

I have more than 100 games. Are there any I can play between two switches using one copy of the game? Or is it impossible.

Do you have a Switch 2? There are specific games that use GameShare, meaning you only need one copy and can use with both Switch and Switch 2 systems. I’m not sure if two original Switches can do it, though; I’m under the impression that one of them has to be a Switch 2.

Here is an article that lists the games so far: https://www.gamespot.com/gallery/switch-2-gameshare-games/290...

Yeah sorry. Yes I have. Switch 2.

Ok, that’s a slightly disappointing list. My kids ADORE Mario Kart and really would have been nice to see one of those supported (8 deluxe or world).

However I have 3D World, Odyssey, Toad, and Bananza so let’s at least try them.

Not sure they will enjoy though/

Yea, the GameShare options are pretty limited right now, and it's hard to say if they'll keep adding older games like MK 8.

I am kind of surprised they haven't added MK 8, though. It's easily a top-3 party game.
