Topic: Nintendo removing VRR support messaging.

My kneejerk reaction was, "is this as major as when Sony removed native support for PS1 and PS2 games from the PS3?"

Probably not. It's my understanding that VRR is only for handheld mode and is not supported while playing docked. I guess Nintendo doesn't want to further confuse customers about what they're buying. Unfortunately Nintendo have done a whole lot of poor communication already. I suspect most plebs won't care about VRR support anyhow.

I see, VRR was added to the PS5 seventeen months after launch.

Doesn't quite answer the question of if Nintendo will add it to Switch 2 post-launch or not ever.

There's nothing to apologize for, it's an interesting talking point.

I assume it's similar to how Sony eventually removed the 8k tag from PS5 packaging.
