Topic: Pokemon Masters

Surprised no one has made a thread for this...

I'm not a huge fan of free-to-play mobile games, as I get really bored with them quickly. (I tried Dr. Mario World, couldn't even bother finishing the first world, lol)

I'm kinda interested in this one though, some of the Pokemon ones do keep me in. (Pokemon Go was a mixed story, but since I moved I could play that game again) I can't remember when this game is supposed to come out, but I just watched a couple of GameXplain videos on it, gonna keep an eye on this one. Anyone else doing the same?

I'm really excited for this game. It's actually being published by DeNA, a first for Nintendo/Pokemon-related mobile games. I'll be downloading it at launch. It's slated for a Summer release (so, basically, any day now)

At least someone replied....yeah, I did see it on the Google Play Store, but of course I tapped it and it gave me the "page not found" message. Go figure, lol. (the game isn't there anymore)

I pre-ordered the game on the app store. I'm hyped as heck!

...Well apparently this game comes out this Thursday...I dunno why anyone is interested in this game? :c
EDIT: Well apparently the Android version is releasing now...except it's still nowhere to be found here. Is anyone else able to download and play this game?

Downloaded and played a little yesterday. Also not big on mobile games (understatement) but like you said, I usually try Pokemon ones. Seems okay at a glance. I'll probably fiddle around with it from time to time.

Me: I think I will procrastinate even more at work by playing this game!

Game: You have another 590mb download.

Me: I just downloaded AND updated you yesterday! What the hell!?

I've actually been enjoying this game quite a bit. It's nice because I feel like I can progress in the story just fine without being pressured to spend money, and it's cool seeing some of my favorite characters interacting. I'm also stoked they brought Kris back from the grave!

Yeah, it's not bad...I do wished it would give you more info on...stuff. Like...enemy levels or something. lol

Ah well, at least so far it's not a grindfest like with other free mobile games.

I'm actually enjoying this, it's actually built like a good gacha game, which is unexpected with how rare those are. As much as I'm glad the initial cast is all major main series characters, I hope spinoffs get some love down the road, maybe in special events. I'd love to see Yellow and Emerald from Adventures, Solana and Plusle from Ranger, Wes and Espeon and Rui and Umbreon (or vice versa) from Colleseum, Greevil and Shadow Lugia from XD, heck even a few anime characters would be okay.

I've just seen Pokémon Masters Ex is trending, #pokemonmastersex lol
