Seven tracks from Metroid Prime 4: Beyond are now available! Better than nothing this week I guess, last week's drop was pretty large after all. I would prefer if we didn't lose full releases over these though!
Okay, Metroid Prime 4 special release. I'll take it and definitely listen while continuing to type my story tonight.

AJWolfTill How long have you been keeping track of people's correct guesses? The fact that no has gotten more than 2 correct is pretty funny.
I never posted about it anywhere, so it doesn't count (this was long before I had an account on here anyway), but I correctly guessed back in March that we'd be getting Super Mario Bros. 3, and even that it would be released a day early for Mar10 Day. Seems to have been lightning in a bottle though, because I haven't gotten a guess fully correct since. >_>
I keep forgetting special releases are a thing.
It seems obvious in retrospect although to be fair, they've never released a game and its soundtrack at the same time so far.
So theory number 1 of mine was correct. Shame we lost the normal release but happy to have this here! @FishyS Been tracking since New Years. What's even funnier is that half of the people on the leaderboard's correct got a point from Tears of the Kingdom after they missed they changed their vote when the normal window was missed.
Hopefully we get a clear winner by Christmas XD
@AJWolfTill Time for me to lock in and get myself to 3 points!
As cool as a full release would have been for MP4, I assume they didn't go for it simply because there are tracks named after bosses and locations that are spoilers, and of course, no one wants that!
As someone who was skipping Metroid Prime 4: is the game as good as the soundtrack on the Music App? Because I cannot stop listening to it. Over. And over. And over. If the game is half as good as that music I need to get it tomorrow.
This week I'm predicting the rest of Splatoon 3. The Ordertune CD released on December 11th 2024 so having the rest of Splatoon 3's soundtrack added to Nintendo Music sounds about the 1 year anniversary sounds about right.
@Grumblevolcano Same. I don't know if it really HAD to be a full year later, but it makes sense. It can be any week now. It'll be nice if it happens before there's likely another Frosty Fest in January.
But if not this week, then we're back in Randomland.

The fact that Wii U has only one true game on Nintendo Music (as opposed to games advertised as Switch tracks that got secondarily cross-listed as Wii U) bothers me.
Since Monday is an anniversary (at least in Japan) for Wii U, I think this is finally the week for Nintendo Land.
Since I'm guessing via anniversaries l'll randomly guess Mario Kart DS as a backup.
Side comment, but I wonder if they'll start putting virtual boy tracks on Nintendo Music around the time virtual boy comes to NSO.
